Matthew Kilgore is a New York City based tailor and costume artisan whose work appears on stage and screen. His practice focuses on precision tailoring and performance-driven construction for live and on-screen production.
Since 2020, he has been the head tailor for The Drew Barrymore Show, where he oversees alterations and custom fabrication for principal talent and handles guest wardrobe needs. In addition to tailoring, his work on the series includes bespoke costume builds, reinterpretations of iconic film references, and Emmy-recognized contributions to the show’s wardrobe department.
His recent work includes A Chorus Line 50th Anniversary, as well as Broadway and pre-Broadway productions such as Death Becomes Her and The Queen of Versailles. Earlier credits span Hamilton, Frozen, Tina: The Tina Turner Musical, Chess, and The Iceman Cometh. His film work includes tailoring for Spinning Gold, alongside ongoing contributions to live performance and benefit productions including Broadway Backwards.
